Prophylactic Pin Headdress
Beaded rubber pin headdresses are fun and easy to make. These cute headdresses can be used equally decoration in a auto by hanging them over the rear view mirror or in the habitation with other Native American décor. They are popular items that are often establish for sale at trade shows, craft fairs and powwows.
Supplies Needed
- 10 two-inch safety pins
- 11 6mm circular faceted acrylic chaplet
- 33 8mm round faceted acrylic beads
- 12 spaghetti beads
- 15 inches of 20-guess crafting wire
- Round olfactory organ or needle nose pliers
- 12 Feathers
- 8 inches of i/eight inch ribbon
- Craft glue
Step 1
Cut a 4-inch length of twenty gauge crafting wire. With a pair of round nose pliers, curl 1 end of the wire into a small circle.

Add an 8mm round faceted dewdrop, a spaghetti bead and some other 8mm bead to each safety pivot and close.
Step three
Slide a 6mm round faceted bead onto the wire and slide the bottom band of a prophylactic pin on next. Making sure all safety pin openings are facing the aforementioned management, continue this procedure until all condom pins have been added. Add the last 6mm bead to the wire and with the round nose pliers, curl the end of the wire into a circle.
